As we grew up
it would seem to be
A constant bond
between you and me

And we would share
all of our dreams
And talk for hours
or so it seemed

There would be the time
we would disagree
about what we wore
or the place to be

But never once
did I hear you say
there would come a time
you'd be gone one day

when that time came
heaven made us part
I kept you here
deep in my heart

and as I sit here
and I reminisce
about all the love
we had dear sis

We watched in awe
as we saw our kids grow
share their experiences
watch their life flow

There are so many memories
about time gone by
not a day goes by
when I don't want to cry

As I miss the sound
or the telephone ring
or a day shopping
and what it would bring

I can cry now forever
even wish you here
but being my angel
